|The Prairie Heritage Center is now a REALITY!! You have played an important role in the success of this project! After over a decade of planning and fundraising and just over a year in the building process, the Prairie Heritage Center is now open to the public!|
The Little Sioux Valley Conservation Association will continue to seek funds and donations to fulfill the mission and goals of the Prairie Heritage Center project. All donations, regardless of size, are needed to accomplish this!

Pennies for the Prairie Heritage Center
The Prairie Heritage Center has two fundraising projects ongoing. Both raise money for our programs through things you already do each day.
Use GOODSEARCH as your search engine and the Prairie Heritage Center earns a penny each time you search for a website. See the link on our home page.
We want your “TRASH!!” We are working on a recycling project which not only pays us 2 cents for each bag you bring in … but it also keeps trash out of the landfill!!!
We are collecting the following bags:
• NABISCO BRAND COOKIES for example OREOS, FIG NEWTONS, CHIPS AHOY, NUTTER BUTTER, etc.
• FRITO-LAY PRODUCTS ANY FRITO-LAY SNACK for example LAYS POTATO CHIPS (any flavor), DORITOS, CHEETOS, FRITOS. This can be any size bag.
• MARS & WRIGLEY CANDY WRAPPERS for example
SKITTLES, STARBURST, M & M’S, SNICKERS, TWIX
BRING YOUR EMPTY BAGS TO THE
PRAIRIE HERITAGE CENTER!!!!
The Little Sioux Valley Conservation Association was formed in cooperation with the O'Brien County Conservation Board in 1994. One of the main goals of the Association is to advance the environmental education programs in O'Brien County. The Little Sioux Valley Conservation Association is recognized as a fully qualified not-for-profit organization under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are tax deductible.

Online Nature Store - shop for items relating to our natural heritage and help the Prairie Heritage Center through your purchases! You get great outdoor items and help your Prairie Heritage Center at the same time!
