Location of the Prairie Heritage Center
The Prairie Heritage Center is located in the SE corner of O'Brien County at 4931 Yellow Avenue.

Driving directions: The site is located 4 1/2 miles southeast of Sutherland on Hwy 10 or 3 1/2 miles northwest of Peterson on Hwy 10, then 1 mile north on Yellow Avenue.

Watch for the "brown" Conservation signs directing you.

The center is located on the west side of the road on a bluff overlooking the river valley.

It is located adjacent to a 160 acre county owned wildlife area and within 1800 acres of the DNR's Waterman Prairie Wildlife Area.

Remember our hours are -

Wednesday through Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., and Saturday - Sunday 1 p.m.- 4 p.m.
