Get your team together for an afternoon of learning and fun. Get into the spirit with some crazy categories. Points will even be scored for the best bluff on some questions!

Call the Prairie Heritage Center to register your team of 2-4 members. Entry deadline is January 28.

Thursday, February 7 - 7:00 p.m. - We LOVE Animals!

Bring a blanket and curl up for a good story! Listen to some classic children’s stories about our favorite animals - Munch some popcorn - Create a cool craft to take home. This Valentine program will be sure to make you LOVE animals too!

Watch your local newspapers for a Snowshoe Event!

A snowshoe outing will be planned during the winter season. In order to prevent rescheduling due to no snow on the ground an event will be planned and announced on the local cable channels, in the local newspapers and on our web site as weather permits.

February 15 - February 18 - Great Backyard Bird Count

“Count for the Fun, Count for the Future!” Join in this citizen science project in your own backyard. See the article on page 7.

Saturday in early March - Date to be announced - Eagle Watch - Prairie Heritage Center

Watch for information in your local newspapers and on-line. Join us for a come-and-go eagle watch. This event has become a community festival. Take part in activities in towns along the Little Sioux River.
