We surpassed our attendance goal! Over 14,000 people visited the Prairie Heritage Center in the first year!!! These visitors have come from 39 states, the District of Columbia and 8 foreign countries.

The bison have been a HUGE draw. Watching the calves grow and change was a highlight for our return visitors. The bison will be leaving the prairie soon; but, don’t despair! They will return to our hillside again next spring.

All of our exhibits have maintained the high quality that you expect. The Mill Creek exhibit is currently being installed. Don’t skip the conference room on your next visit. Temporary displays continue to change in that area.

Help us celebrate our first year of operation with a “Welcome the New Year” party on Saturday, January 19, from 2:00-4:00. There will be “party” games for the whole family at this come-and-go event.
